Classics never get old
The first thing that comes to mind when you hear about the next remake is the graphics tightened in two places, and the increased resolution. And often it does. And Capcom is no exception. The publisher came out with a sufficient number of remakes made according to a well-known scheme. But with Resident Evil 2, things are different. Here we can proudly talk about a full-fledged new game. And that's why.
Remake of Resident Evil 2 is completely recreated on the engine of the seventh part. This means that the player will have stunning cinematic visuals, modern graphics and cool special effects. The developers not only recreated all the game scenes, but also reworked some of them from scratch.
The game has two campaigns for two characters: Leon Kennedy and Claire Reddfield. The plot of Resident Evil 2 repeats the events of the original 1998, but with some offshoots. Before us is still a young police officer, Leon Kennedy, who entered the service on the first day. And according to evil fate, on the same day, all the inhabitants of the city turn into zombies. The reason lies in the T-virus, which was spread by rats after the events in the first part of the series. Now Leon, together with Claire, will have to survive in this hell and leave the city before it is destroyed by a nuclear bomb.
Resident Evil 2 is not just a remake, but a complete game. Players have a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the classic console hit with a modern twist.
